Meeting held with young people in the IT sector

At the instruction of our esteemed President, every Thursday has been designated as “Youth Day.” On this basis, Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, met today with young people working in the IT sector.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes noted that, under the leadership of our esteemed President, special attention is being paid to the IT sector, as in all other areas, and that large-scale measures are being implemented in this regard.
As was emphasized, the IT sector is one of the professions of the future, offering the opportunity to earn significant income with relatively limited investment. For this reason, special attention is being given to the sector and broad opportunities are being created. One clear example is the 17-storey IT Park building in Nukus, which does not exist in any other region of the country outside Tashkent and is now serving talented young people. Such opportunities created for young people clearly reflect the fact that support for youth is becoming one of the priority areas of state policy.
The meeting also highlighted these important efforts and included an exchange of views with young people on further developing the sector, supporting freelancers, increasing IT exports, and implementing startup projects.
In turn, the young participants put forward a number of important initiatives and raised issues they encounter in the course of their work.
Each issue raised was taken under the personal supervision of the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes, and responsible officials were given specific instructions to provide positive solutions in the near future.
During the meeting, a group of young people who are setting an example among their peers through their determination and active engagement were encouraged.
