Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes meets with youth in Beruniy District

R. Nurazizov, Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, met with young people working and studying in various fields in Beruniy District and listened to their concerns on site.

The visit began with a review of the work of Islom Khudaybergenov, who teaches young people argon welding skills at a workshop located in the Xorazm mahalla.

It should be noted that young people who complete training courses at this workshop leave for legal labour migration abroad as “skilled specialists.”

A 24-year-old entrepreneur, Akmal Ergashev, who launched a modern vehicle detailing business with a concessional loan of 100 million soums, has created jobs for three young people. He is currently planning to expand his business.

This was followed by a review of the work to establish the “Erizon” shopping complex. The facility will include a children’s entertainment area, public catering outlets and construction materials stores. The modern commercial complex, with a total value of US$1 million, will provide permanent jobs for more than 100 young people. During the visit, responsible officials were given specific instructions on supporting youth entrepreneurship.

The next venue for the meeting with youth was Children’s School of Music and Art №6 in the district. The Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes familiarized himself with the activities of the clubs and listened to the proposals of the young participants.

At the sports school, the games of the volleyball team preparing for the “New Uzbekistan Olympic Peaks” sports competition and the conditions created for them were reviewed. A laptop was presented to Surayyo Sultonnazarova, a student of Secondary School No. 65 in the Ziyokor mahalla, who studies through home-based education.

Studying the problems of young people and providing them with comprehensive support has become one of today’s key priorities, and such good initiatives will continue on a systematic basis.
