A branch of the “Hamroh” company supporting women’s entrepreneurship has been opened in Karakalpakstan

Today, an event was held in the city of Nukus to mark the opening of the Karakalpak branch of the company “Hamroh,” which plays a significant role in promoting and supporting women’s entrepreneurship.
The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbayev, and Adviser to the Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, N. Davletova.
It was noted that in recent years, under the leadership of the President of our country, support for women has become one of the key priorities of state policy. Women in Uzbekistan are now provided with extensive benefits and opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship.
Furthermore, Presidential Decree No. 240 provides for the allocation of 2 trillion sum to the company “Hamroh” in 2026–2027 to financially support the entrepreneurial projects of 6,000 women, provide entrepreneurship training to around 3,000 women, and assist 2,000 women in developing their business activities.
The opening of this branch will serve as a foundation for the broader involvement of women in entrepreneurship and will contribute to the further growth and development of their businesses.
