An iftar was held to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kallibek Kamalov

On March 18 of this year, an iftar was organized at the “Oqqush” complex in the city of Nukus to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned statesman and public figure, Kallibek Kamalov.

At the event, the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbayev, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that Kallibek Kamalov, a distinguished statesman and public figure, made a significant contribution to the country’s socio-economic development through his profound knowledge and exceptional organizational abilities.

The iftar was also attended by Presidential Adviser T. Khudaybergenov and Chairman of the Council of Ministers F. Ermanov.

Indeed, through their selfless dedication, individuals such as Kallibek Kamalov—who devoted their lives to the wholehearted service of the people—have made an immense contribution to ensuring the welfare and future of the nation. Our multinational people deeply recognize and highly appreciate Kallibek Kamalov’s devoted service.

We all know well that our esteemed President treated Kallibek Kamalov with profound respect and reverence.

At the initiative of the President, a special resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers was adopted to widely celebrate the 100th anniversary of our respected elder, and a dedicated program is currently being developed.

During the iftar, held in the blessed month of Ramadan, those present shared their memories of Kallibek Kamalov’s life and professional journey.

Undoubtedly, the image of Kallibek Kamalov—who devoted his life to serving the people—will remain in the memory of our nation for many years to come.
