The Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, paid a working visit to the Kungrad district to assess ongoing initiatives aimed at improving living standards through the expansion of entrepreneurship and the creation of new jobs.
His visit began in the “Elabad” mahalla, where he toured the household chemicals manufacturing enterprise “Ustyurt Star Business.” Officials were instructed to facilitate the company’s access not only to the domestic market but also to export channels, underscoring the importance of scaling local production beyond regional boundaries.
Orynbaev then proceeded to the “Olmazor” mahalla, where he reviewed a series of small business initiatives. Among them was entrepreneur Kh. Allanayazov’s project focused on purified water production and paper recycling, as well as the “Café Collection” enterprise specializing in garment and knitwear manufacturing. He also examined a furniture production project led by Majit Atamuratov, a resident of the “Hokim Ota” mahalla.
In addition, several other grassroots ventures were presented, including a family-run glove manufacturing business “Askartay-Amintay,” a sock production operation led by individual entrepreneur Murat Majitov, a facade thermal panel manufacturing project by Samat Seitmuratov, and a workshop producing traditional musical instruments run by craftsman Serik Yesemuratov.
The Chairman further reviewed the progress of business initiatives under “Cardio Kungrad,” a company equipped through grant funding, along with a number of other entrepreneurial projects. Relevant authorities were given clear directives to strengthen support mechanisms and provide hands-on assistance to help businesses expand their operations.
As part of the visit, Orynbaev also inspected the construction of multi-apartment residential buildings being developed under a renovation program, as well as the establishment of service facilities along the Zhingishke canal. Officials were tasked with ensuring that construction work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
