Students of Children’s School of Music and Arts No. 23 in the Ellikkala district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan delivered an impressive performance at the International Creative Competition “Sharq Gavhari–2026” (“Pearl of the East–2026”), earning multiple top honors and international recognition

Held from March 26 to 29 in Bukhara, the competition brought together talented young performers from various regions and countries, serving as a platform to celebrate and promote traditional and classical arts.
Representing their institution with distinction, the students from Ellikkala district secured a number of prestigious awards:
Among the standout achievements, Fazliddin Soburbaev, a student specializing in the Bakhshi (traditional epic storytelling and performance) direction, was awarded a coveted Grand Prix tour to Turkey and Azerbaijan. A similar honor was bestowed upon Saidbek Bakhrambaev, a student of traditional vocal performance, underscoring the strength of the school’s vocal training program.
In the instrumental category, Rakhimjon Bozorboev, a student of the Kashgar rubab class within the folk instruments department, earned a first-degree diploma along with a gold medal. Strong results continued in the vocal category, where Sarvarbek Atakhanov secured a first-degree diploma and gold medal, while Bekhruzbek Azimboev was awarded a second-degree diploma and a silver medal.
The students’ success not only highlights their individual talent and dedication but also reflects the high standard of artistic education provided by the Ellikkala district’s music and arts school.
