Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev launched the nationwide project “Yashil Makon”

Through a video conference, the event was attended by activists, youth, women, representatives of the older generation, employees of ministries and organizations, as well as members of the general public from the Republic of Karakalpakstan and all regions who are eager to contribute to the country’s prosperity and the creation of “green belts.”

Under the leadership of Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the planting of tree seedlings around the city of Nukus has begun.

Currently, organized greening efforts and tree-planting activities are being carried out across cities and districts of the republic as part of the nationwide “Yashil Makon” project.
