The Investment Potential of Karakalpakstan Presented at a Seminar in South Korea

At a recent seminar held in South Korea under the auspices of the Association of North East Asia Regional Governments (NEAR), the investment potential of Karakalpakstan was presented to an international audience.
Representatives of Karakalpakstan took part in the event as members of the official delegation of Uzbekistan. During the seminar, they delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining prospective investment projects planned for implementation in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as the region’s broader economic potential.
Particular attention was given to the favorable conditions created for the development of entrepreneurship and the enhancement of the region’s investment attractiveness. These conditions stem from a series of resolutions and decrees adopted in recent years, reflecting the special emphasis placed on the development of Karakalpakstan by the President.
The program also included a meeting with representatives of Korea Far East University, during which an agreement was reached to establish cooperation in the field of higher education between the university and Karakalpak State University.
In addition, as part of the visit, meetings were held in cooperation with Kor Net Global, bringing together representatives of Korean companies. These discussions resulted in agreements to collaborate in key sectors, including pharmaceuticals, agriculture, construction, and tourism.
