Entrepreneurs’ Concerns Heard

A meeting between the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, and entrepreneurs initiating new projects in the city of Nukus was held at the building of the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Opening the discussion, the Chairman elaborated on the conditions created for entrepreneurs under a series of decrees and resolutions issued by the country’s President specifically for the Republic of Karakalpakstan. He noted that the incentives provided — unprecedented compared to other regions of the country — have contributed to a steady increase in the number of entrepreneurs and the creation of new jobs.
It was emphasized that, within a historically short period, the country has undertaken large-scale efforts to foster a more conducive business environment, expand production capacity, and enhance the region’s investment appeal. These efforts, participants were assured, will continue in a consistent and systematic manner.
The meeting also addressed key priorities for further strengthening support for entrepreneurship. For the majority of issues raised by business representatives, practical solutions were identified on the spot, while broader systemic challenges were outlined for follow-up.
Officials emphasized that no appeal will be left without due consideration.
