Karakalpak Scientist Awarded International Prize

B. Khabibullaev, Director of the International Innovation Center of the Aral Sea Region under the National Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Ecology and Climate Change, has been recognized as a laureate of the "Tyan-Shan" State Prize of the People's Republic of China. The award was conferred by the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in recognition of the scientist's significant contribution to the development of ecological and geographical sciences.
It should be noted that the International Tianshan Prize is among the most prestigious awards of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
This prize is intended to encourage foreign specialists and experts who have made a substantial contribution to the development of the region, as well as to the strengthening of international scientific, technical, environmental, and economic cooperation.
The establishment of the prize pursues the objectives of recognizing the contributions of foreign scientists, engineers, and experts to the development of Xinjiang, stimulating international scientific and technical exchange, attracting advanced technologies, innovations, and management practices, promoting joint projects in the fields of ecology, agriculture, energy, and digital technologies, strengthening long-term partnerships between China and foreign countries, and enhancing the dissemination of regional development programs.
