Hokim of Chimbay District Appointed

On April 21 of the current year, an extraordinary 18th session of the Kenges (Council) of People's Deputies of Chimbay District was convened.

The session’s agenda addressed an organizational matter.

The meeting was attended by Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenges (Supreme Council) of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, who delivered an address.

During the session, the appointment of Nasyr Muratbaevich Yeshanov to the position of Hokim (Mayor) of Chimbay District was considered.

A number of deputies of the District Kenges expressed their support for the proposed candidate.

Based on the outcome of the session, Nasyr Muratbaevich Yeshanov was appointed as Hokim of Chimbay District.

For reference: Throughout his professional career, N. Yeshanov has held the positions of Head of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Branch of the Joint-Stock Commercial Bank "Agrobank," Head of the Secretariat for Economic Development Issues of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as First Deputy Hokim of Kegheyli District for Financial-Economic Development and Poverty Reduction.

Immediately prior to this appointment, he was serving as an Assistant to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for Local Industrial Development Issues.
