A New Chapter Opened in the History of Para Swimming in Karakalpakstan

From May 1 to 3 of this year, the World Para Swimming Championship was held in France.
Representing the national team of Uzbekistan, Shakhnoza Yerezhepbaeva demonstrated a high level of preparation and confidently outperformed all her competitors. Finishing in first place, the athlete secured a gold medal for the national team.
It should be especially emphasized that this achievement became a landmark event: Shakhnoza Yerezhepbaeva entered the history of para swimming in Karakalpakstan by winning the region’s first-ever world championship gold medal and setting the highest achievement in this sport.
