International Day of Families Celebrated with a Ceremonial Event

Today, a ceremonial event dedicated to the International Day of Families, annually celebrated on May 15, was held at the Berdakh Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theater.

Participants of the celebration were congratulated by R. Nurazizov, Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In his speech, he emphasized that in recent years, under the leadership of the President, special attention has been paid in the country to strengthening the institution of the family, enhancing its role in society, providing social and spiritual support, and creating an atmosphere of mutual understanding, peace, and harmony in every home.

It was noted that, since ancient times, our people have regarded the family as a sacred home, the foundation of society, and the guardian of national values. It is within the family that moral principles, respect, kindness, and other qualities are formed, later becoming reflected in the life of society.

As part of the festive event, exemplary families from the cities and districts of the republic were awarded the “Exemplary Family” badges. An award ceremony was also held for the winners of the republican stage of the “Exemplary Family of New Uzbekistan” competition in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The event concluded with a праздничная concert program featuring representatives of the arts and culture, giving the audience bright emotions and unforgettable impressions.
