Effective Cooperation with Chinese Companies Is Being Strengthened

As part of the visit to China, the delegation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan headed by Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes, together with Sha Hu Sheng, Chairman of the China Animal Husbandry Association, familiarized itself with the activities of major livestock and poultry enterprises, as well as with products showcased at the China International Animal Husbandry Exhibition.

During the exhibition, negotiations were held with executives of companies specializing in poultry farming, cattle breeding, as well as the production of specialized structures and equipment for the livestock industry.

In addition, the management of “Huayu Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd” announced its intention to visit Nukus in June of this year to explore opportunities for launching operations in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Discussions were also held with Wu Bingxin, Head of “Chian Ningbo Guangyuan Investment Co., Ltd,” on the implementation of projects within the framework of the “Youth Socio-Economic Center” being established in Khojayli District.

Following the meetings, agreements totaling 400 million US dollars were signed.

A separate meeting was held with Thomas Wang, Head of “Shanghai Linkwise Data Intelligence Co., Ltd.”, on the project for the construction of an intelligent computing center worth 3.5 billion US dollars. During the negotiations, the parties agreed to complete the first stage of the project by August 1 of the current year.

The delegation also participated in the conference “One Belt – One Road: China–Uzbekistan Cooperation and Exchange of Experience in the Field of Animal Husbandry.” During the event, participants discussed the development of livestock farming, breeding, feed supply, and meat import issues.

In addition, priority projects in urban development and trade-economic cooperation were identified during the forum, resulting in the signing of agreements worth a total of 413 million US dollars.
