Delegation of Karakalpakstan Continues Working Visit to the People’s Republic of China

As part of its ongoing working visit to the People’s Republic of China, the delegation of Karakalpakstan led by Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, held a series of high-level meetings with representatives of leading Chinese companies and organizations.
During the visit, negotiations took place with AI Yu, Head of the Xi’an Digital Technology Association, as well as executives of major companies operating in the digital technology sector. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation in modern digital technologies, data processing centers, and the development of advanced digital infrastructure.
The delegation also met with representatives of companies specializing in agriculture, biotechnology, and agrarian innovation. Particular attention was given to cooperation in the development of biomaterials for soil moisture retention, technologies aimed at combating desertification, extraction technologies based on medicinal plants, dairy farming, and the application of space technologies in agricultural breeding and selection.
In addition, meetings were held with Zhang Eryan, General Director of “Shaanxi Tianrun Technology Co., Ltd.”, and representatives of “Taiwan Glass Group,” companies engaged in the production of household appliances, construction glass, and glass products. During the discussions, the sides considered opportunities for localizing the production of household appliances, glass, and construction materials within the territory of Karakalpakstan.
Chairman Amanbay Orynbaev emphasized that Karakalpakstan possesses substantial raw material resources, favorable conditions for investors, and significant industrial potential for the development of these sectors. He also invited Chinese partners to establish modern manufacturing facilities in the city of Nukus.
As a result of the meetings, the parties reached a number of important agreements aimed at further expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
