The "Every Thursday – Youth Day" initiative, introduced by the President of Uzbekistan and now being consistently implemented across the country, has established a fundamentally new, effective, and targeted system for engaging with young people. The initiative provides a strong platform not only for identifying and addressing the challenges faced by youth, but also for helping them realize their ambitions and unlock their full potential.
As part of this initiative, the Chairperson of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbayev, met today with unemployed young people and youth receiving targeted support in Karauzyak District.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that comprehensive support for young people remains one of the key priorities of the country's state policy.
Participants were informed about the wide range of opportunities available to youth, while it was also noted that an increasing number of young people are making effective use of these opportunities and achieving success across various fields.
The meeting featured an open dialogue, during which participants actively raised their concerns, shared practical challenges, and put forward proposals and initiatives. Among the key topics discussed were entrepreneurship, access to concessional loans, vocational training and professional skills development, as well as issues related to education.
Most importantly, every issue raised during the meeting was placed under the personal supervision of the Chairperson of the Jokargy Kenes. Relevant officials and heads of responsible agencies were given specific instructions to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of the matters discussed.
