New Manufacturing Enterprise Opens in Turtkul District

A new industrial enterprise, "Degore-glass T," was officially inaugurated in Turtkul District on June 19, marking another important step in the region's industrial development and economic growth.
The opening ceremony was attended by Amanbay Orynbayev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, who congratulated the company's employees and guests on the launch of the new production facility.
The project reflects the ongoing economic reforms and industrial modernization being carried out across Uzbekistan under the leadership of the President, while also demonstrating the growing investment potential of Karakalpakstan.
Established under the favorable conditions created to support entrepreneurship and private investment, the enterprise specializes in glass container recycling. With an annual production capacity exceeding 4.5 million units, the facility has already created more than 80 new jobs, contributing to both sustainable industrial development and local employment.
Beyond strengthening the region's manufacturing sector, the enterprise is expected to support the circular economy by promoting efficient recycling and the responsible use of resources, while making a long-term contribution to economic growth and improving the quality of life in the region.
Following the ceremony, Chairman Amanbay Orynbayev toured the production facilities and reviewed the enterprise's operations, manufacturing process, and working conditions.
