Meeting Held with Livestock Farmers and Agricultural Entrepreneurs

Amanbay Orynbayev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, held a meeting with heads of farming enterprises and entrepreneurs engaged in the livestock sector.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that, under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, strong support continues to be provided for entrepreneurship, with particular attention given to the development of agriculture and livestock farming. Ongoing reforms have created favorable conditions and expanded opportunities for the sustainable growth of these key sectors.
Special attention was also given to the incentives and preferences introduced under presidential decrees and government resolutions specifically aimed at supporting the development of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as to the effective use of these opportunities by local producers.
The open dialogue allowed farmers and entrepreneurs to present their proposals and initiatives for advancing the livestock industry, including poultry farming and aquaculture. Participants exchanged views on practical measures to increase productivity, strengthen production capacity, and support long-term sectoral growth.
Speakers also highlighted the importance of ensuring a stable supply of high-quality and affordable meat, dairy, and poultry products, describing food security as one of the sector's key priorities.
The meeting concluded with the identification of the most pressing challenges facing the livestock industry, while outlining practical measures and follow-up actions to support its continued development.
