Active Young People Honored on Youth Day

Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the country's youth. The event was held via videoconference and brought together participants from all regions of Uzbekistan, including young people from Karakalpakstan.

Before the meeting, a ceremonial award presentation was held to honor young people who have achieved outstanding success in science, technology, culture, the arts, sports, entrepreneurship, and other fields, inspiring their peers through their accomplishments.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orynbayev highlighted the unwavering attention and comprehensive support that the country's youth receive through the initiative of the esteemed President, emphasizing his genuine fatherly care for the younger generation.

Following the ceremony, in accordance with a resolution of the Presidium of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, a group of active young people was awarded the "Ümit Ushqyny" ("Spark of Hope") badge of honor.
