Entrance Examinations Begin in Karakalpakstan

Today, July 14, entrance examinations for admission to state higher education institutions and vocational colleges for the 2026–2027 academic year officially began across Uzbekistan.

In Nukus, applicants are taking their examinations at several specially designated testing centers, including the regional office of the Agency for Knowledge and Qualifications Assessment of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The examinations are being conducted in two daily sessions:

• Morning session: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• Afternoon session: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

This year, approximately 31,000 applicants are expected to participate in the entrance examinations for admission to state higher and vocational educational institutions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

The examination campaign will continue through July 23.

To ensure transparency and fairness, all examinations are being broadcast live through a video surveillance system. The testing process can be monitored in real time via the test2026.uz website.
