Mahalla Seven Teams in Uzbekistan to Receive UZS 10 Million Grants

Under the directive of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, each "Mahalla Seven" team will receive a UZS 10 million grant to implement projects aimed at addressing social issues, improving cleanliness and neighborhood beautification, and increasing household incomes within their respective mahallas.

A total of UZS 240 billion will be allocated from the state budget to finance this initiative.

In addition:

• The mahalla chairperson will approve the work plans of the members of the Mahalla Seven and coordinate their activities.
• A National Institute for Mahalla Development will be established to provide training, scientific guidance, and methodological support for members of the Mahalla Seven.
