New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs in Karakalpakstan: Every Business Project to Be Reviewed Jointly with Banks

As part of the "Topical 40 Days" program, the Republic of Karakalpakstan has introduced a new mechanism aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and promoting employment.
Under the new system, promising business ideas will be reviewed through a Project Office in cooperation with nine commercial banks and relevant government agencies.
A key feature of the initiative is that projects will be assessed not only for their eligibility for financing, but also from the perspective of their overall implementation. Specialists will jointly evaluate each project's financial model, infrastructure readiness, availability of the required permits and approvals, and any other factors that may hinder implementation. Based on this assessment, practical solutions will be developed to facilitate successful project execution.
Commercial banks will play an active role throughout the process by financing promising projects, providing a wide range of banking services, and offering practical support to entrepreneurs in implementing their business initiatives.
The primary objective of the new system is to ensure that promising business ideas move beyond the planning stage and are successfully brought to life, creating new jobs and increasing household incomes. To achieve this, government authorities and commercial banks will jointly support each project until tangible results are delivered.
