Opportunities for Processing and Exporting Organic Tomatoes Are Expanding

At the BIOGUMUS farm in Nukus District, the processing of environmentally friendly organic tomatoes, naturally dried under the sun, has been successfully established.

The enterprise currently produces 10 types of tomato-based products, which are exported to international markets, including China, France, Israel, and Japan.

This year, modern technological equipment worth 15 billion sum was imported from China to expand the enterprise's production capacity. Installation of the new equipment is currently underway.

Once commissioned, the new production line will enable the enterprise to manufacture additional products, including sun-dried tomatoes with vegetable oil and various spices. As a result, production capacity is expected to reach 5,000 packages of finished products per day.

The full implementation of the project will significantly expand the enterprise's operations, increase production volumes and export potential, and create new employment opportunities.
