Active Entrepreneurs Honored on Entrepreneurs’ Day

A ceremony honoring a group of active and enterprising business representatives was held at the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan to mark Entrepreneurs’ Day.

Addressing the ceremony, Amanbay Orynbayev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, highlighted the special attention given by the President of Uzbekistan to the development of entrepreneurship and emphasized the importance of the decrees and resolutions adopted to support the business community.

It was noted that the decrees and resolutions adopted specifically for Karakalpakstan in recent years have provided a solid foundation for promoting entrepreneurship, enhancing the region’s investment attractiveness, and driving economic growth. Within a relatively short period, new facilities have been launched and major investment projects implemented across the region.

The ceremony recognized the initiative, dedication, and contribution of entrepreneurs whose activities are helping advance the socio-economic development of Karakalpakstan.

As part of the celebration, entrepreneurs who received state awards under special decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan were formally presented with the “Shuhrat” Medal and the “Faol Tadbirkor” (“Active Entrepreneur”) Badge.

In addition, pursuant to a resolution of the Presidium of the Jokargy Kenes, a number of entrepreneurs were awarded honorary badges of the Jokargy Kenes and presented with valuable gifts.
