New Student Dormitory — Another Example of Opportunities Being Created for Young People

Today, a ceremony was held at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh to mark the commissioning of a new modern student dormitory ahead of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by the university’s faculty and staff, representatives of the mass media, and members of the general public.
As noted during the event, in recent years, under the leadership of the President, particular attention has been paid to developing the education system and creating appropriate conditions for young people to acquire modern knowledge and professional skills.
The new student dormitory commissioned at Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh is a practical example of these efforts. Built in accordance with modern architectural and construction standards, the complex can accommodate 500 students.
The dormitory provides all the necessary conditions for students to live comfortably and safely, study, and spend their free time meaningfully. In addition to well-equipped living rooms and household and sanitary facilities, the dormitory also provides facilities for recreation, extracurricular activities, and the effective organization of students’ leisure time.
At the conclusion of the event, the participants toured the newly constructed student dormitory and familiarized themselves with the conditions created there.
