Commemorative Badges Marking the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan Presented on Independence Day

A Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Awarding the Commemorative Badge ‘35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan’” was recently adopted to recognize compatriots who have made a significant contribution to strengthening the country’s economic potential, developing entrepreneurship and the private sector, creating new jobs, improving the well-being of the population, and ensuring the effectiveness of reforms in all spheres of public and social life.
The award also recognizes contributions to educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, strengthening peace and stability, interethnic harmony and an atmosphere of tolerance in the country, as well as enhancing the international standing and prestige of New Uzbekistan.
Under the Decree, a group of activists from the Republic of Karakalpakstan were also awarded the commemorative badge.
A ceremony to present the awards was held at the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes Amanbay Orynbayev congratulated those present on Independence Day.
The “35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan” commemorative badges were then presented to a group of activists who have made a worthy contribution to the development of the country.
Those who spoke at the ceremony emphasized that they would continue to work selflessly to ensure a prosperous and dignified life for the people and expressed their sincere gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the high recognition of their work.
