State Awards Presented to a Group of Compatriots in Honor of the 35th Anniversary of Independence

Today, the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan hosted an official ceremony to present state awards to a group of compatriots whose dedicated work contributes to the development of the country, the further strengthening of independence, and the upbringing of the younger generation in a spirit of love and devotion to the Motherland.

The event was held to mark the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orynbayev congratulated those gathered on the 35th anniversary of the country’s Independence.

In accordance with a Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the country’s Independence, orders and medals were presented to the award recipients.

The recipients noted that the presentation of the state awards was another manifestation of the Head of State’s special attention and care for Karakalpakstan and expressed their deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
