Major Facilities Commissioned in Karakalpakstan Reviewed

The previous day, with the participation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a ceremony was held to commission 163 new facilities across the country with a total value of 50 trillion sum, marking the 35th anniversary of our country’s Independence.

During the ceremony, the Head of State symbolically pressed a button to launch the new major facilities. These included 12 facilities commissioned in Karakalpakstan.

Today, a group of public officials, representatives of the older generation, and members of the general public familiarized themselves with the activities of these facilities.

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orynbayev noted that the implementation of such major projects is the result of large-scale reforms being carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as the special attention being given to the development of Karakalpakstan.

The participants first visited a newly opened enterprise producing autoclaved aerated concrete blocks in Nukus.

A total of 175 billion sum was allocated for the construction and equipping of the enterprise. The facility has an annual production capacity of 350,000 cubic meters of aerated concrete blocks. Once the enterprise reaches full production capacity, it will provide employment for 90 people.

The guests familiarized themselves with the production process and spoke with the workers.
