Public Representatives Familiarize Themselves with the Karakalpakstan Scientific and Practical Medical Academy, Established at a Cost of 153 Billion Sum

It should be particularly noted that during his visit to Karakalpakstan, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the activities of the Karakalpakstan Branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care and instructed that the necessary conditions be created to improve the professional qualifications of healthcare workers in the region. In accordance with this instruction, the Scientific and Practical Medical Academy was established and commissioned.

The Academy has created 159 new jobs and provides all the necessary conditions for healthcare professionals to improve their professional qualifications and master modern medical practices. In particular, the Academy is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, specialized technical devices, and simulation rooms.

Notably, some of the modern equipment installed at the Academy is among the few of its kind not only in Uzbekistan but also across Central Asia. This enables medical professionals to develop their practical skills to a high standard alongside enhancing their theoretical knowledge.

In turn, this represents an important step toward further improving the quality and effectiveness of healthcare services provided to the population.
