New Multi-Storey Residential Building Commissioned in Kungrad District

An official opening ceremony for a new modern multi-storey residential building was held in Azatlyk Mahalla, located in the center of Kungrad District.
The event took place as part of the large-scale development projects being implemented across our country ahead of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that Resolution No. 132 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 1, 2025, approved the Program for the Accelerated Comprehensive Development of Kungrad District for 2025–2026. The document provides for measures to create favorable conditions for residents and business activities in the district center, as well as, beginning in 2026, the construction of modern multi-storey residential buildings to replace dilapidated housing through urban renewal.
As a practical implementation of these objectives, a modern five-storey residential building with 35 apartments has been constructed in Azatlyk Mahalla on the site of previously existing dilapidated and unsafe two-storey buildings.
The new building not only meets modern architectural standards but also contributes to improving the appearance of the area and creating comfortable living conditions for residents.
During the official ceremony, the new apartment owners were presented with the keys to their new homes.
