Karakalpak Scientific Experimental Station Commissioned Ahead of Independence Day

Ahead of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, new social and infrastructure facilities are being consistently commissioned across the country’s regions. These projects are aimed at further developing local areas, strengthening their material and technical infrastructure, and creating the necessary conditions for the population.
As part of the events marking this significant date, an opening ceremony was held in the Kutankol Rural Citizens’ Assembly of Nukus District for the Karakalpak Scientific Experimental Station, established as part of the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies — GREEN UNIVERSITY and the Forestry Research Institute.
A total of 8 billion sum was allocated for the construction of the facility.
The commissioning of the Karakalpak Scientific Experimental Station is of great importance for the further development of research activities in the region. The newly established scientific and experimental facilities will support research and practical work in the fields of environmental protection, forestry development, the study of climate change processes, and the rational use of natural resources.
The implementation of this project will expand research opportunities in these areas and improve the effectiveness of efforts aimed at ensuring the environmental sustainability of Karakalpakstan.
