State Awards Presented to a Group of Compatriots Ahead of the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Today, a solemn awards ceremony was held at the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for a group of compatriots who have made a significant contribution to the development of the country, the strengthening of its independence, the improvement of the people’s well-being, and the upbringing of the younger generation in the spirit of love for the Homeland and devotion to the country.

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orinbaev took part in the ceremony and congratulated the participants on the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, emphasizing the importance of every citizen’s dedicated work in ensuring the country’s sustainable development and strengthening the values of independence.

In accordance with a decision of the Presidium of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, honorary titles and badges were presented to a group of compatriots for many years of conscientious and dedicated work, their significant contribution to the comprehensive development of the country and ensuring a decent standard of living for the population, strengthening interethnic friendship, harmony and mutual understanding in society, active participation in public and political life, as well as educating the younger generation in the spirit of love for the Homeland and commitment to the ideals of independence.

Particular recognition was given to citizens whose productive work contributes to the further socio-economic development of the region, the strengthening of social harmony, and greater civic engagement.

In addition, in order to enhance the effectiveness of preventive and awareness-raising activities among young people aimed at preventing cybercrime and the negative consequences of drug use, the “Combating Drug Abuse” and “Combating Cybercrime” competitions were held, with cash prizes presented to the winners.

The event took place in a solemn and festive atmosphere, serving as another testament to the high recognition accorded to citizens whose work contributes to the development of our country and the strengthening of its independence.
