The International Day of Families was widely celebrated

Today, a festive ceremony dedicated to the International Day of Families was held at the Berdakh Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theater.

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orynbaev delivered a speech and warmly congratulated the attendees.

As noted, under the leadership of our esteemed President, special attention is being paid in our country to strengthening the role of the family in society, supporting it socially, economically, and spiritually, as well as further enhancing mutual understanding, peace, and harmony within families.

Indeed, our people have long regarded the family as a sacred institution — a homeland within the homeland, the foundation of society, and a custodian of national values. After all, all good beginnings start within the family and extend to the neighborhood and society as a whole.

At the festive event, distinguished families from across the cities and districts were awarded honorary 'Exemplary Family' badges. 
In addition, the winners of the Karakalpakstan regional stage of the "Exemplary Family of New Uzbekistan" contest were given commemorative gifts.
