Ceremonial Opening of the Uzbekistan-Germany Joint Center for Ecosystem and Biodiversity Protection at Karakalpak State University

At Berdakh Karakalpak State University, an international scientific-practical conference was held on the topic «Protection of biodiversity and ecosystems in the Republic of Uzbekistan - potential for cooperation between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Uzbekistan».

Within the framework of the conference, a ceremonial opening of the Uzbekistan-Germany Joint Center for Ecosystem and Biodiversity Protection was held at Berdakh Karakalpak State University."

The event was attended by R.Saparbaev, Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as representatives of leading scientific, educational, and innovation institutions from Uzbekistan and Germany.

At the event, it was noted that the opening of the Center is not only a significant step for science, but also an important milestone for environmental security, sustainable development, and international scientific cooperation.

This Center represents a key initiative aimed at ensuring environmental sustainability at both regional and international levels, and it operates in alignment with Uzbekistan’s sustainable development strategy.
