Important Agreements Reached During Karakalpakstan Delegation’s Visit to the UAE

The Karakalpakstan delegation, led by Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes, currently on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates, held meetings with representatives of several major companies in the Emirates.
During the meeting with Abdullah Ahmed Al Mandous, Director General of the National Meteorological Center, issues were discussed regarding the establishment of a meteorological and climate monitoring database and the implementation of precipitation modification technologies under the drought climate conditions of the Aral region. As a result of the discussions, it was agreed to develop a "Roadmap" and to coordinate visits of National Meteorological Center representatives to Uzbekistan, including the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Following this, a meeting was held with the leadership of Tatweer Holding, during which issues related to the implementation of blockchain projects, the development of technoparks equipped with high-speed internet and data centers, as well as the establishment of training centers for blockchain technologies were discussed.
During the day, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. The discussions focused on accelerating the commissioning of the “Mothers and Children Complex” currently under construction in Nukus. As a result of the meeting, a “Roadmap” was developed outlining the projects to be implemented, with responsible parties assigned accordingly.
During the meeting with the leadership of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), discussions were held on implementing joint projects in Karakalpakstan related to the establishment of integrated technoparks and training centers, road construction, improving the ecological situation and water supply, and exporting agricultural products. Additionally, issues concerning the preservation of the western part of the Aral Sea, the region's largest ecological challenge, were also addressed.
During the meeting with ADQ company, issues were discussed regarding the joint development of prospective areas rich in industrially significant mineral resources and attracting investments for their exploitation. In addition, long-term direct investment attraction and the implementation of comprehensive projects were discussed in talks with the leadership of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the discussions with the leadership of ADNOC Gas, issues related to the joint implementation of projects on gas processing and liquefied natural gas production were reviewed.
During the meetings, plans were outlined to expedite work within the framework of the discussed initiatives.
