Under the Leadership of the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes, Issues of Takhtakupir District Development Were Discussed

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, held a meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development issues of Takhtakupir district.

First of all, the results of studies on the ongoing works, the district’s investment projects, as well as the activities carried out in the households of self-employed citizens, were reviewed. Additionally, the improvement works and economic indicators were thoroughly discussed, along with issues related to road repairs, construction and reconstruction of social facilities, and ways to address these challenges.

Important issues were critically reviewed in the mahallas, such as assisting citizens in obtaining additional income, providing close support for organizing self-employment, launching the activities of small business entities, as well as allocating preferential loan funds.

During the meeting, specific tasks were assigned to the responsible organizations and officials to address the shortcomings identified and noted by the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes.

At the meeting, it was decided to dismiss the First Deputy Hokim for Financial and Economic Affairs and Poverty Reduction of Takhtakupir District - who also serves as the Head of the Department of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction - due to mistakes and shortcomings in the performance of duties. Instructions were also given to apply disciplinary measures to certain managers and responsible persons, as well as to review the suitability of individuals who have shown negligence in fulfilling their responsibilities for their positions.
