Karakalpakstan Awarded 1st Place at “Eco Expo Central Asia 2025”

The Republic of Karakalpakstan took part in the international exhibition “Eco Expo Central Asia 2025,” which was held from June 19 to 21 at the CAEX Exhibition Center in Tashkent, presenting its own dedicated booth.

The booth featured a comprehensive showcase of restoration efforts in the Aral Sea region, the use of renewable energy sources, innovative solutions, and prospects for international cooperation. The region’s ecosystem was presented through models, video materials, an aquaponics system, live saxaul plants, as well as samples of natural water and soil.

Based on the results of the exhibition, Karakalpakstan’s exhibition stand was recognized as the most informative and was awarded first place. This served as confirmation of the international recognition of the region’s efforts in the field of environmental sustainability.
