Ongoing Reconstruction on the International Highway

In order to improve the traffic capacity of the international highway passing through our republic, step-by-step reconstruction work is being carried out based on the decrees and resolutions of our President.

In accordance with Presidential Decree No. 454 dated December 24, 2024, “On measures to develop the social and industrial infrastructure of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2025–2027,” it was planned to reconstruct the 698–723 km section of the A-380 “Guzar–Bukhara–Nukus–Beyneu” highway. For the construction work, 71.2 billion soums have been allocated for 2025, and it is planned to lay asphalt concrete pavement on this section of the highway.

Currently, asphalt paving work is being carried out on the 708–710 km section of the highway.
It is also worth noting that reconstruction work is ongoing on the 673–698 km section of the same highway, where it is being upgraded to a cement concrete pavement.
