Youth Day Celebrated Nationwide with Great Enthusiasm

Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the country's youth. The event was attended by young representatives from all regions, including Karakalpakstan, via video conference.

At the meeting, the Head of our state delivered a speech and warmly congratulated all young people on this special occasion — Youth Day. During the event, the President also presented awards to a group of exemplary young individuals who have distinguished themselves in fields such as science, technology, culture, arts, sports, entrepreneurship, and other areas.

After the meeting, a ceremony was held at the Kara Uy (Yurt) in Nukus — a symbol of friendship among the multiethnic people of Karakalpakstan — to honor a group of young individuals who have achieved outstanding results in their respective fields.

There, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, delivered a speech in which he spoke in detail about the special attention and fatherly care shown by our esteemed President towards the youth.

Following that, by resolution of the Presidium of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, a number of active young individuals were awarded the "Watan pidayısı" (Devoted to the Motherland) and "Úmit ushqını" (Spark of Hope) breast badges.
