Efforts Reviewed to Ensure Employment and Support Additional Income for Citizens in Khojeli District

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orynbaev familiarized himself with the ongoing efforts in Khojeli district aimed at ensuring employment, creating new jobs, and developing entrepreneurship.

First, the activities organized based on the "Saikhunabad" experience were reviewed. In particular, visits were made to the households of Daulet Ametov, who is engaged in floriculture in the "Bagman" mahalla; Zhienbay Saparniyazov, who grows greenhouse products and develops farming on his household plot; Zafar Otemuratov, who is engaged in cattle breeding in the "Samankol" mahalla; and Quanish Nurymbetov in "Shagalakol" mahalla. The ongoing work was observed, and it was noted that such experiences should be more widely disseminated.

Following that, the activities of a laboratory established with a $135.6 thousand grant from the World Bank were reviewed. The facility has begun work using the modern method of artificial cattle reproduction - the "in vitro" technology.

The activities of business entities in the district were also reviewed. In particular, inspections were carried out at “DO‘STLAR SHOES XO‘JAYLI” LLC, which manufactures leather footwear; “INOSTAL” LLC, which produces metal products; “EXIMCORP” LLC, which is expanding the processing of madder root; “FARMS GAFUR GULOM” LLC, which is implementing dairy processing projects; as well as “LIDERTEKS GROUP” LLC and the family enterprise of Urazimbetov Rakhat. Responsible officials were instructed to provide full support for the entrepreneurs to take advantage of the benefits available in Karakalpakstan for the further development and expansion of their businesses.

After that, the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes visited the newly established "Youth Center" in the district and familiarized himself with the conditions and opportunities created there. It was noted that this center should become an important venue that brings together the youth of Khojeli and supports the realization of their full potential.

The activities organized by Aisha Matkarimova on her household plot in the "Kulab" citizens' assembly area and the agricultural complex of Alpamys Kuregenov's farming enterprise in the "Mustaqillik" citizens' assembly were visited. It was noted that the number of such projects should be further increased.

The Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes reviewed the ongoing work in the district and gave clear instructions to responsible officials to support citizens in earning additional income, to create new jobs, and to promote entrepreneurship.
