Karakalpakstan Delegation Holds Negotiations with Chinese Company on Construction Projects

The Karakalpakstan delegation paid a working visit to the People's Republic of China to promote investment projects in the field of construction and to strengthen cooperation on joint implementation.

During the visit, Chairman of the Committee of the Jokargy Kenes, I. Sdykov, held a meeting with Zhu Guangxia, Vice President of China MCC Group Co., Ltd.

During the meeting, discussions were held with company representatives regarding the implementation of a project to establish a “Youth Socio-Economic Hub” on a 152-hectare land plot located along the Nukus-Kungrad highway, which passes through the territory of the Khojeli district.

It is worth noting that this large-scale project is being implemented in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 129, adopted specifically for Karakalpakstan. Within the framework of the project, more than 30 apartment buildings with 5 and 7 floors, over 160 model two-story houses, administrative buildings, social facilities, a comprehensive IT park, service centers, as well as industrial and manufacturing sites will be constructed.

The members of the delegation then became acquainted with major projects currently being implemented by China MCC Group Co., Ltd.
