Comprehensive Development of Nukus District Reviewed

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, held a meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development of Nukus district and the implementation of previously assigned tasks.

The meeting was attended by heads of relevant republican institutions and organizations, ministries, district officials, and active representatives of local communities.

Held in a critical and result-oriented manner, the meeting addressed issues such as ensuring decent living conditions for the population, reducing poverty, creating new jobs, resolving problems directly affecting the well-being of residents in mahallas, and the implementation of designated tasks and state programs.

The meeting also addressed important issues such as supporting the development of entrepreneurship, providing close assistance to citizens in obtaining additional income, improving the use of marginal lands, and ensuring youth engagement in agricultural income-generating activities.

During the meeting, officials who had committed errors and shortcomings in the fulfillment of their duties were given warnings, and instructions were issued to apply disciplinary measures to certain individuals.

Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, R.Saparbaev, also took part in the meeting.
