Efforts to Address Public Issues and Support Additional Income Generation Reviewed in Bozatau District
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, got acquainted with the efforts being undertaken in Bozatau District to ensure employment, create new jobs, and address the pressing issues of the population.
The visit began with an inspection of a duck farming project organized along the collector in the “Erkindarya” Citizens’ Assembly. The Chairman also reviewed beekeeping development projects implemented by Akhmet Oteniyazov in the same assembly, as well as household farming activities organized by Gaibulla Alzhanov and Jamaliddin Toremuratov in the “Quskhanatau” Citizens’ Assembly. It was noted that such initiatives on household plots serve as an income source, and similar projects should be expanded to ensure employment and support additional income generation for the population.
Next, the delegation visited works being carried out based on the Bozatau experience along a 2-kilometer section of the gas pipeline in the “Erkindarya” Citizens’ Assembly. Measures aimed at preventing excessive gas consumption and promoting efficient use were reviewed on site.
The Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes also visited the sanatorium currently under construction with funding of 123 billion soums from the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan. Designed to accommodate a total of 200 people, the facility is expected to become one of the key centers providing comprehensive opportunities for improving public health.
The activities of the artisans’ alley organized on the basis of the “Zarbdor” model and the language courses launched at the Youth Center were also reviewed. It was emphasized that every initiative aimed at serving the well-being of the people will be supported and encouraged.
After that, the recently installed and commissioned pontoon bridge connecting Bozatau district and neighboring areas directly with Kungrad district - constructed on the initiative of our esteemed President - was also visited. It was emphasized with great satisfaction that the fair policy of our President lies at the heart of solving any issue affecting the well-being of the people, and that citizens are deeply grateful for this.
