Veteran Footballers Competed in the Karakalpakstan Championship

As part of the "Attention to Veterans" initiative, the Karakalpakstan Championship in mini football among veteran players aged 60 and above was held in Nukus. The event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and increase physical activity among elderly citizens of our republic.
The competitions were organized by the Karakalpakstan branch of the “Nuraniy” Foundation and brought together 16 teams from Nukus city and various districts. In the exciting final match, the team from Nukus city secured first place. The veterans of Turtkul district took second place, while the honorable third place was shared by the teams from Khodjeli and Beruniy districts.

At the end of the tournament, the winners were awarded special diplomas and commemorative gifts prepared by the organizers.
In addition, individual awards were presented in the following categories: “Best Forward” - Rozimov Orinbay from Khodjeli district, “Best Defender” - Tadjibaev Shavkat from Beruniy district, and “Best Goalkeeper” - Mishenov Makset from Nukus city. All were awarded valuable prizes.
