Comprehensive Development of Kegeyli District Discussed

Under the leadership of the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, a meeting was held dedicated to the socio-economic development of Kegeyli district, ensuring employment of the population, the implementation of state programs, as well as the execution of tasks set at the previous meeting.

The meeting was attended by representatives of republican institutions, organizations, relevant ministries, district officials, and active members of local communities.

At the meeting, special attention was given to reviewing the current implementation status of the tasks assigned during the previous session. Topics discussed included the improvement of local neighborhoods, resolving infrastructure-related issues, executing projects within the framework of state programs, organizing the operations of new enterprises, constructing multi-storey residential buildings, expanding the use of renewable energy sources, reducing poverty, and improving the living standards of citizens.

Additionally, discussions were held on supporting citizens in generating additional income, promoting the effective use of small plots of land, ensuring youth employment, developing entrepreneurship, assisting enterprise operations, and improving banking services and market infrastructure.

It was also noted that some officials had shown negligence in fulfilling their responsibilities during the implementation of these tasks, and shortcomings were pointed out. As a result, certain officials who had committed serious errors in the performance of their duties were dismissed from their positions. Disciplinary measures were ordered for a number of managers and responsible personnel, with instructions given to review their suitability for their current roles if necessary.
