Detailed Discussion Held on Socio-Economic Development of Chimbay District

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, held a meeting focused on the development of Chimbay district, with the participation of responsible officials from both republican and district-level institutions and organizations.

The meeting addressed the ongoing efforts aimed at the socio-economic development of the district, poverty reduction, ensuring employment, implementation of investment projects, improving the living conditions of the population, creating new jobs, and carrying out landscaping and public improvement tasks.

It is worth noting that a set of specific tasks has been outlined for the comprehensive development of the district within the framework of a dedicated program. Financial resources and necessary opportunities have also been allocated for this purpose.

However, shortcomings were identified in certain areas due to the actions of institution and organization leaders, as well as local community representatives.

In particular, criticism was directed at the poor execution of tasks in mahallas, cases of inflated reporting, and the inadequate implementation of measures related to landscaping and ensuring employment for the population.

During the meeting, officials who had made serious mistakes in fulfilling their duties were dismissed from their positions. Disciplinary measures were applied to certain leaders, and instructions were given to review the suitability of some individuals for their current posts, if necessary.
