Efforts to Improve Living Conditions Reviewed in Karaozek District

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, became acquainted with the ongoing efforts in Karaozek District aimed at improving living conditions, ensuring employment, and promoting entrepreneurship among the local population.

The visit began with an inspection of the sprinkler irrigation system installed on a 7-hectare plot of the Togay farm, funded by grant resources. It was emphasized that attracting external assistance and grant funding is essential for expanding such projects.

Then, the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes familiarized himself with the project of the "Aytbay Jeri" LLC enterprise in the "Berdaq" citizens' assembly focused on horticultural and gourd cultivation, with the results achieved on land plots allocated to youth in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 153, with the activities of farmer Khojamuratov Shomurat in the "Ata Makan" mahalla, as well as with the work of Seydabullaev Parakhat on the development of viticulture.

It was especially emphasized that the number of families earning additional income by working with the land and turning it into a source of stable earnings should continue to grow, especially since all the necessary conditions have been created for this.

At the Youth Center building, the efforts in foreign language education were also reviewed, along with the training processes for young people in the field of information technology at the BPO center, which provides remote services.


The projects of Polat Djumanazarov on home-based construction material production, Davletiyar Erimbetov on furniture manufacturing, and Djuginis Polvaniyazov on glassware production in the “Yesim” mahalla were studied. Specific instructions were given to responsible officials to provide all necessary support and promote the development of entrepreneurship.
