Issues of Comprehensive Development of Karaozek District Reviewed

A meeting was held under the leadership of Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, to discuss the socio-economic development of Karaozek District, employment of the population, implementation of tasks defined within state programs, as well as the measures to be taken and the instructions issued at the previous meeting.

The event was attended by representatives of republican institutions, organizations and relevant ministries, as well as district officials and mahalla activists.

At the meeting, a critical review was conducted of the implementation of instructions given at the previous session, including the improvement of mahallas, implementation of projects under state programs, establishment of new enterprises, wider use of renewable energy sources, reduction of poverty, and improvement of the population’s living standards.

Measures to support citizens in generating additional income, expanding the effective use of household plots, ensuring youth employment, developing entrepreneurship, supporting business entities, improving the quality of banking services, and enhancing market infrastructure were also discussed.

Negligence on the part of several officials who demonstrated shortcomings in fulfilling their duties was also criticized. Some of them were dismissed from their positions. Instructions were given to impose disciplinary measures on a group of managers and responsible persons, and, if necessary, to review their suitability for their current roles.
