Issues of Comprehensive Development in Takhtakupir District Reviewed

A meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orynbaev, was held in Takhtakupir district to discuss socio-economic development, ensuring employment, the implementation of state programs, upcoming measures, and the fulfillment of tasks set at the previous session.

The meeting was attended by representatives of republican agencies, organizations, relevant ministries, district officials, and active members of local communities.

At the meeting, priority was given to reviewing the current implementation of assigned tasks, addressing challenges related to mahalla improvement and infrastructure, carrying out projects within the framework of state programs, organizing the work of new enterprises, constructing multi-storey housing, expanding the use of renewable energy sources, reducing poverty, and improving the living standards of the population.

At the same time, the meeting also discussed measures to support citizens in generating additional income, promote the effective use of household plots, ensure youth employment, foster entrepreneurship, provide practical assistance to enterprises, and improve banking services and market infrastructure.

The meeting also criticized certain officials for negligence in fulfilling their duties, and shortcomings were pointed out. At the same time, several officials who had made mistakes in carrying out their responsibilities were dismissed from their posts. A number of managers and responsible officers were given disciplinary measures, and instructions were issued to review the suitability of some for their positions, if necessary.
