Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes Visits Kungrad District

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orynbaev visited Kungrad district to study the challenges faced by local residents, listen to the concerns of entrepreneurs, and review efforts aimed at guiding young people towards professional skills.

The visit began in the village of Sagyr, located within the “Suwenli” Citizens’ Assembly, where he met with residents to discuss the issue of drinking water supply. During the meeting, instructions were given to allocate the necessary funds for the construction of a water purification facility to ensure the population’s access to clean drinking water.

After that, the implementation of previously given instructions to resolve the problems in the social housing facility of the “Almazar” Citizens’ Assembly was reviewed. Based on these instructions, repair works are currently being carried out on the sewage systems of the multi-storey building, and special meters have been installed for energy networks.

A visit was also made to the bridge in an emergency condition connecting the villages of Tirkish and Sayat in the “Adabiyat” Citizens’ Assembly area. Discussions were held with local elders, and responsible officials were instructed to prepare calculations for the allocation of necessary funds to address these problems.

Projects implemented in the district were also reviewed, including the agricultural plantation project for food production initiated by “Beruniy-Agrostar” LLC, the wood processing project of “KUNGRAD LESTORG” LLC, as well as the operations of a newly established logistics center.

After that, attention was given to the activities of the “Kiyet Farmers” production cooperative, organized on the basis of the “one contour – one product” principle. The work of the district branch of the Vocational Skills Center, where language training courses are being conducted, and the BPO Public Service Center providing remote services, was also inspected.
